Cat Boarding vs. Cat Sitting
Did you know that cats smell is better than some dogs?
Did you know that they need to be mentally stimulated just as much as physically stimulated?
If you have a kitty who doesn’t usually play, a cat sitter might be the thing for you! a cat sitter can help socialize your cat and get it mentally and physically stimulated.
I think I can show you better than I can tell you. Look! Here is Rex TALKING with Bella’s House & Pet Sitting:
Or maybe it was a day when we just needed to keep our feline friends normal routines and let them play in the water like Blossom or Holly:
Or maybe you do have one of those shy cats. We have many tactics that we have learned since we have been in business (since 2002) from national feline experts. We have many tactics to get your cats to warm up to us. For example, Nudge was on kitty who usually takes a bit to warm up to us. Using our techniques we were able to become good friends. Nudge also got very sick the first time we were caring for her and we had to take her to McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital and syringe feed her food. It was challenging, but we rose to the occasion.
We have had kitties that want to stay under the bed, but we are able to friend them and get them out with the promise of a brushing….(Here is Lucy)
Or maybe your cats are just like dogs and they are very rowdy… especially at feeding time (Love this one!)
In ANY case… Bella’s House & Pet Sitting has had more than enough experience cat sitting for our Scottsdale and Fountain Hills clients since 2002. With cats being so connected to their environment, why would you want to board your kitty? They can stay in the comfort and security of their own home, lay on their favorite chair, drink from their favorite faucet, play with their toys in familiar surroundings. What a life huh?
Cat sitting isn’t about just scooping the litter and throwing down some food and water – it is about mental and physical stimulation.

I agree completly!!
I cant even imagine boarding a cat! The travel stress in the car alone is horrible for them! And then to be in a strange place, in a little room and surrounded by noises like dogs barking, other cats, people etc.
Cats definitely should stay at home while their parents are away.
Sarah – great points! You are absolutely correct! Thanks for your comment. -Bella
