Meet Bella’s House & Pet Sitting Employees!

Amy Short

Amy Short, Day Visit and Overnight Pet Sitter

My name is Amy Short.  Originally from Elmira, NY, after finishing college, I moved to Washington, DC, where I lived until moving to Scottsdale in 2008.  My husband and I have two wonderful furry kids of our own, Gandalf and Grayson, who are mixed breed, brother and sister, rescue kitties. I spent my childhood and most of my young adult life helping my dad, a (now) retired police officer, foster future and retired K-9 New York State officers.  I have also spent the last 15 years home and pet sitting for a variety of friends and family.  In my free time, I volunteer for a domestic violence shelter in Phoenix and also as a rape crisis counselor in Scottsdale.  I love to read, write and paint and one of my long term goals is to return to college for my law degree.  I am very excited to be a part of Bella’s House and Pet Sitting team and I look forward to making sure that you have peace of mind knowing that your furry kids are loved and well cared for!  I look forward to meeting you!

Aubrey Myers

Aubrey Myers, Day Visits and Overnight Pet Sitter

My name is Aubrey Myers.  I grew up in Portland, Oregon where I attended college at Portland State University earning my bachelors of science in biology.  After college I moved to Boise, Idaho where I worked as a catering supervisor and later as a pet sitter.  I recently moved to Scottsdale in June of this year with my husband and our six cats.  I learned a lot about animal care from my sister in law in who works as a veterinary technician.  She taught me, in particular, about animal health and how to administer medications including injections.  I also spent time pet sitting for her family of four dogs and three cats.  In my free time I love spending time with my husband and animals, reading, camping, and barbequing on the patio.  I greatly enjoy the company of animals and I am excited to be a member of Bella’s House and Pet Sitting team.  I look forward to meeting and getting to know the furry, beloved members of your household. Jessica

Jessica

Jessica Seichick, Day Visits and Overnight Pet Sitter

Hello, I’m Jessica! My world revolves around animals, and I cannot wait to meet your furry friends! All my life there has always been animals around me ( horses, frogs, parrots, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, rabbits and of course dogs). I love every minute I get to spend making an animal happy and really enjoy working with animals. I am originally from Pennsylvania, but I relocated here with my two Australian shepherds, my golden mix and bunny. I have worked at a vet’s office so I am a pro at insulin shots, pills, ointments and eye drops. In my spare time I volunteer at Foothills Animal Rescue, where I learned how to get animals to warm up to me. For me, the most rewarding feeling is when an animal becomes comfortable with me, and I wish to have this relationship with all the pets I visit.

Carrie Severson

Carrie Severson, In Home Boarding

Carrie Severson is the founder and CEO of Severson Sisters and she loves her job! She knew, even as a little girl, she was meant to make a difference in the world. That feeling of wanting to shine and lead was buried though because she was made fun of, left out, and bullied throughout her childhood, typically because she was heavier than other girls her age. In January of 2011, she took a leap of faith and launched Severson Sisters, a bullying solutions and self-compassion outreach non-profit for girls in Phoenix. With the encouragement of her sister, Holly, and the rest of the Severson family, Carrie took off. Carrie now runs this non profit from her home allowing her to be home all day and night! She is the perfect pet lover to care for your baby in her home giving them the loving one on one attention they deserve. Her beautiful patio home is located on the Scottsdale/Paradise Valley boarder. She lost her sweet Ellie Mae last year (pictured) and missed the pitter patter of paws in her house.
