Bella Vasta, Owner
Bella’s is the best!
All of Bella’s House & Pet Sitting employees ( not independent contractors ) not only go through an extensive background check, but are personally hand picked, screened, and trained by Danielle Vasta, the Owner.
As Danielle Vasta states….
“Each of my employees are a direct extension of me. They are like my left and right arm. I trust them, I have trained them, tested them – therefore, I vouch for them. Bella’s only hires the best!”
Danielle “Bella” Vasta, Pack Leader
Danielle Vasta grew up in an Italian household to the nickname “DaniellaBella”. Now, most people call her “Bella”. Growing up she had a fur sister named Gigi, who was a black and white house cat, and Max, a rescue dog who was a lab and beagle mix. Bella started Bella’s House & Pet Sitting in year 2002 while she was attending Arizona State University. In 2004, when she graduated with her BA in Human Communications, she made the decision she would like to go full steam ahead with her pet business.
In 2002, Bella has become a national leader in the pet sitting industry. In 2007, BHPS was awarded the National Pet Sitting Business Of The Year Award. Bella herself was also awarded the Member In Action Award given by NAPPS for her national volunteer work to the organization. She has been interviewed on NPR’s Dog Talk Radio Show and interviewed on the Martha Stewart’s Cat Radio on Sirus Satellite Radio. In 2007 she also launched Jump Consulting, LLC where she coaches pet sitters across the country on how to start or expand their companies and in 2010 is now listed on the Advisory Board with newly launched APSE Association For Pet Sitters.

Bella believes in building solid relationships with all two and four legged clients. It is her company’s goal to gain each clients trust, so they can have the peace of mind they deserve when they can’t be at home with their fur kid.
ROCCO (The Rock Star), Office Manager
Hi! My name is Rocco, I am Bella’s owner. As of June 10th, am only 9 wks old. See, Bella’s wanted me for a loooong time, but being a professional pet sitter – she is away from home a lot. Not until recently has she begun to manage more of the business – thus, it was the perfect time to find her. See, my fur-mom gave birth to me and my 4 brothers and sisters in the desert and my God Mother (Bella’s client) found us and saved us. I took one look at Bella and we fell in love. I was actually promised to a family in Tucson but Bella and I agree it was love at first sight.
Bella has appointed me the office manager. So when you get your conifrmtaions of your booking – they will be coming from me. Mom says my English isn’t good enough yet – so she will still be answering the phones. In just 10 short days with Mom, I already sleep through the night, ask to go outside, settle down in my crate within 10 minutes (the neighbors like this, lol) and chew on my OWN toys.
I love living with Bella and I know when she “cheats” on me with your pets – they will be in VERY good hands. Lol, hey – I already got to “hear” the ongoing training with one of my aunties (staff) . She pays real attention to detail and talks to them a few times a day!
Ok – paws are really hurting now… I don’t know how she types all day. Here is a video so you can see all my sides!!!
