Danielle “Bella” Vasta

Hi there!  So you are on this page because you probably want to know who the woman behind this company is, huh?

First thing first. My real name is Danielle, but everyone calls me BELLA! (It was a childhood nick name of “Daniellabella”)

This is my dog and I “Rocco the Rockstar”. He is a pivotal part of the company and sometimes you will get picture messages on Facebook from him and emails too! He is our official “Office Manager” More about him if you scroll down to the bottom

I actually stared this company on accident if you can believe it!  Back in 2002 I was attending Arizona State University getting my Human Communication degree, but who knew I would also be communicating a lot with pets too! I realized that people would pay me to stay in their homes with their pets and I loved every minute of it!

After I graduated, I really wanted to take this business by storm and my entrepreneurial spirit was let loose. At the time, I didn’t even know it was in me!

I joined National Pet Sitting Organizations, even started my own at one point and created a national name for the company even though it only operates in sunny Scottsdale Az! In 2007 Bella’s House & Pet Sitting was awarded the National Pet Sitting Business Of The Year, which I thought was pretty darn cool!

While this was all happening, I actually launched a pet sitting business coaching company and have had the thrill of helping pet sitters and their companies all around the USA, Canada, and Australia!

When the local McDowell Mountain Ranch Networking group was looking for a new leader, I volunteered and headed up the group. We got a website going with some branding and got our members active again. During this time I also threw a lot of Mutt N Mingle bashes in the community too. You see, I believe that part of being a local business owner comes with a responsibility to promote community so that is why I get so involved.

I believe in knowing what food goes into Rocco’s body and that pets are people too. They all have their own personalities just like “we” do and my company has been created to really accent that belief. Honestly, we might not be the cheapest pet sitting company in town, but I believe that we are the luxury service and experience that your pets deserve. That is why you will always get a lot of extra’s with us.

I call everything the “Bella’s Family”  My two and four legged clients are in that category too.  It is probably my Italian routes.

I do a lot of other things too (radio show co host, charity work, etc), but I will save that long list for my linkedin profile if you would like to look me up there.

Oh yeah, I openly admit that grammar and spelling are not my strong suit. In fact, to date we have over 300 pages on our website now between the pages and all the blogs. I guarantee you will find mistakes. I hope you can overlook them if you find them and know that I am more focused on maintaining a strong company for your babies than my spelling sometimes haha.

Hi! My name is Rocco, I am Bella’s owner. I was born April 2010. See, Bella’s wanted me for a loooong time, but being a professional pet sitter she was away from home a lot. Not until recently has she begun to manage more of the business – thus, it was the perfect time to find her. See, my fur-mom gave birth to me and my 4 brothers and sisters in the desert and my God Mother (Bella’s client) found us and saved us. I took one look at Bella and we fell in love. I was actually promised to a family in Tucson but Bella and I agree it was love at first sight.

Bella has appointed me the office manager, so I have to work for my kibble. When you get your confirmations of your booking – they will be coming from me(although I might be saying HI in the background, RUFF!). Mom says my English isn’t good enough yet – so she will still be answering the phones. In just 10 short days with mom, I already sleep through the night, ask to go outside,  come when she calls me, settle down in my crate within 10 minutes (the neighbors like this, lol) and chew on my OWN toys. I love living with Bella and I know when she “cheats” on me with your pets – they will be in VERY good hands. Lol, hey – I already got to “hear” the ongoing training with one of my aunties (staff) . She pays real attention to detail and talks to them a few times a day!
